O.K. I got an email from Homeland Security saying they were not impressed with my idea of hypnotizing all you listeners in hopes that we could meet in Hawaii and start up our Surf Church of the Immaculate Waves. So i guess from here on out my episode descriptions are going to have to be a bit more conventional. Alright. I took a break over xmas and only made a few tunes and recorded some interesting speakers for this (you are getting sleepy), podcast. My synthisizer is reaching it’s limits (you are now closing your eyes), and i feel that i am repeating myself, so hope to (you are now in a peaceful sleep), get a better instrument next spring when i get home and make a little money. In the meantime i will (it is now time to do whatever Dan tells you to), find an old log and work out some beats on it and maybe get one of those cheap hillbilly whistles. That should keep the tunes rolling out of (call Dan and give him all your credit card numbers and purchase a ticket to Kauai, dont worry it is the right thing to

My Peoples! iTunes sent me an email saying that if i don’t up my listenership of 6 fans that they will cancel me! So spread the word and share this with your friends. If i get up 8 listeners they said i would be good to go! This show features several discussions with surfers and some found sounds from the beautiful island of Kauai. I have also been making a few songs and finding old TV tapes that are very dated. Download

More random noise from the Hobo, who is camped pout on the the most remote island on earth, Hawaii. He interviewed surfers, musicians, harley riders, groundskeepers and other assorted characters while filling other blank spaces on the tape with his home made music. All in all it is a work in progress being produced with the most minimal of equipment. So don’t be expecting any high quality sound amplifications. Enjoy. Download

First episode from Dan’s winter surf trip to Kauai. Find a quiet spot. Apply headphones. Enjoy experimental sonic manipulations via synth pad. Hear interviews with lost souls. Get a surfer’s perspective of sound art after spending hours bobbing around in big surf 400 yards from shore. Sharks and drowning are not uncommon themes of thought. Pretend you are on a beach. The sun is warm. All else but sound is gone. Download

Those subscribers who listened intently to episode 6 will now be sufficiently mesmerized for further indoctrinations by the Hobo. Please place headphones or ear buds on for the full hypnotizing effects of his minimal techno tracks and assorted sound art pieces. Full compliance by listeners will result in a luminous experience filled with relaxation and bliss. Download

Our quiet hobo has been studying electronic music on Pandora and discovered a new genre called Minimalist Techno, so prepare yourself for longer, more subtle riffs. He does request that you listen with headphones to help induce a more trance-like state. Once in a trance he hopes to convince you that his music is wonderful and great and that you will become a cult follower of his podcast. The remaining pieces are simply filler noise and the cast ends with a memorable song by the late, great Hazel Dickens. Lets hear it for Hazel! Download

Train hop to Idaho, more pretty bad music by the hobo, old neighbor telling old stories, mom talking about getting attacked by a bison bull and various pieces of found sound. Kind of like an audio version of the Moonlight Chronicles if you will. Download

Okay podcast fans. The original text for this episode was lost in the ether so i will now attempt to rewrite it. Here goes. Okay. Episode number two was made in the Hobos meadow way back in the summer of 2013. If i remember correctly i got some recordings of birds singing in the morning. My recorder then was pretty crappy so all sounds sound like you are hearing them thru a tin can. Then i think i recorded a dog barking. Not sure about that, but i think he was barking way off in the distance. Then of course i probably busted out my synthesizer and made several bad songs. Hey i am just learning and dont claim to be a musician. Okay. I would guess that there are probably a few interviews on it of other hobo type folks, but i wouldnt bet my life on it. In fact, to be perfectly honest, i cant really remember what, if anything, is on episode 2. So i guess you are just gonna have to listen to it and be surprised! Yeh. That works for me. Im getting a headache trying to remember anyway. Download
