Maryland Mat Chat

It's a new year, but the goal still remains the same for coach Kerry McCoy and the Maryland Terrapins. On Episode 5 of the Maryland Mat Chat, coach McCoy looks back at the 52nd annual Midlands Championships held at Northwestern University on December 29-30. We'll talk about the individual performances in Evanston as well as some notable placements by redshirts at the Wilkes Open and the F&M Open. The Terps have two big home dates set on the weekend as they welcome Harvard on Friday, January 9 at 7 p.m. in the first Beauty and the Beast. The combined event will showcase wrestling and women's gymnastics simultaneously. The women's gymnastics team will face West Virginia and George Washington. On Sunday, it's double-time for the Terps as they host rival Navy at 3 p.m. before McCoy and team battles Lehigh, a school he previously served as an assistant coach.
