But what does it mean “anti-diet”? Anti-diet means anti-diet culture. Diet Culture is the system of oppression that promotes thinness and equates it to health and moral virtue. It promotes weight loss as a mean of attaining a higher status and demonize certain ways of eating while elevating others. However, anti-diet doesn’t mean anti-dieter.
