This Week in Costa Rica will feature each week a news portion in which Dan and Rico (qCostaRica) will talk about the happenings in and around the land of "Pura Vida". With over 30 years of living in Costa Rica between the two it give a unique insight into life in CR. Rico from QCostaRica and Dan start by talking about the weather in Costa Rica and then have a dialog the 2016 US presidential election and corruption in government.   The first topi covered is the recent bill that has gone through the first step of approval to instate fines for animal cruelty in Costa Rica.  Will it pass? Will it work? How will it be implemented? Rico & Dan talk about scenarios where they have encountered animal cruelty to dogs and other pets in the country. Dan then talks and explains the process of shipping your pet home from Costa Rica, in this case a dog that needed to go into cargo.
