After they successfully rescue Mick and Sara's younger selves, Gideon loses track of the Pilgrim's movement, which will allow her to take out any of the team without them knowing. The Pilgrim goes after Ray, but the team arrives just in time to save his former self and prevent Ray's death. They are successful, bringing the infants to Rip's adoptive mother to look after until they can stop the Pilgrim.
