The Cricket world has lost one of its true legends in the form of Trevor Bailey who died in a fire at his home. There have been many glowing tributes to the man who was one of England's most outstanding cricketers. Born on 3 Dec 1923 in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex. He attended a local school before going to Dulwich College, where he was selected for the 1st XI at the tender age of 14. Nearly a decade ago, Bailey revisited the scene of some of his many classic encounters - Southchurch and Chalkwell Park in Essex where he grew up.
