From Cradle to Grave - Shz Taher BS Sabaq Series

We are pleased to present the third part in the series ‘From the Cradle to the Grave’. In this 21 minute video, Shz Taher bhaisaheb begins by stressing the importance of aqal – intellect – in the understanding of Shari’at. The focus of this part is on the birth of a Mumin’s child and the hidayat of our Mawali Tahereen about the birth of a child. Shz. Taher bhaisaheb stresses the importance of offering thanks to Allah Ta’ala for the blessing of a child and the erroneous views of those who are saddened when a girl is born. He said that Rasulullah SA has said that it is indeed a blessingthat one’s first child is a girl (min yumnil-mar’i an yakuna bikruha jaariyatan). Shz. Taher bhaisaheb then discusses the significance and different aspects of Naming (chatti), Male Circumcision (khitanat), Talisman (Tawiz), Aqeeqa and breast-feeding (rada’at).
