Jesus Our Passover Lamb — 1 Peter 1:17-21 • Passover, like all of God’s appointed feasts, serves as a prophetic pattern of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 1:17-21) • God ransoms us from bondage with the precious blood of Christ — our perfect Passover Lamb. (1 Peter 1:17-21) • The blood of Christ is sufficient to cover the sins of the whole world but is only applied to those who believe. (1 Peter 1:17-21) • Once we are free, we should not abuse our freedom and become slaves to sin but rather serve God and love one another. (1 Peter 1:17-21) As You Go … If the Son has set you free, then use your freedom to serve God and love one another and so fulfill the law of Christ!
