Carmen Chubb, President of Columbia Residential joins the Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio show to discuss the importance of affordable housing in the metro area. Chubb sits down with show host Carol Morgan and touches on the company’s partnership with Atlanta’s mayor. A repeat guest, the last time Chubb was a guest on the podcast, she had just joined Columbia Residential. Now, the company has a presence in five states and is actively working towards completing Mayor Andre Dickens’s goal to create and preserve 20,000 affordable housing units during his term. Chubb shared that the best thing the company has completed to date was the recent ribbon cutting held at the renovated 40-year-old senior residential high rise in Southwest Atlanta. Previously known as High Tower Manor, Columbia Residential conducted an extensive renovation and is now known as James Allen Jr. Place.
