Atopic dermatitis (AD) carries a significant disease burden, and evidence shows there is often a mismatch in perception of disease severity between patients and their providers. Further, the treatment landscape is complex, with multiple approved therapies, including targeted biologic agents, which have revitalized treatment of the disease.
