After the peace and quiet of a stay on Tresco, boarding a noisy helicopter can be a bit of a shock. But it is always very exciting. Hold on to your hat!

The golden sun is rising over the Eastern Isles. A new day on Tresco has begun. The first person on the beach, you listen to the pair of Oyster Catchers on Rushy Porth.

During a walk around the island, the tide is coming in and you have to clamber over the granite rocks to get passed the headland at Blockhouse Point. Spend a few minutes enjoying the sound of the waves sloshing against the rocks.

A visit to Tresco is not complete without watching a helicopter land. Listen to the British International Sikorski S61 arrive here. After departure, peace returns and the tractors and bicycles rule the island once more.

It's not always perfect weather on Tresco. Some days it rains and rains. But if I had to be stuck anywhere in the rain, it would be on Tresco.

Welcome back! This is the second Tresco360.co.uk podcast and this month we'll be heading up towards the north of the island. It's a sunny, but breezy day and we've walked up to a rocky outcrop besides Gimble Porth beach on Tresco, Isles of Scilly. The sea gulls usually hang around here and have had to take flight as we've approached. You can here them circling overhead. Looking out, you can watch the waves crashing against the rocks below.
