The Rev. Dr. Robert Allan Hill and Dr. Scott Jarrett present a joint message on the scholarship and theology of the day's Bach Cantata, entitled "The Bach Experience." The Marsh Chapel Choir performs “Jesus nahm zu sich der Zwölfe, BWV 22" by J.S. Bach along with service music and hymns.

The Rev. Dr. Jessica Chicka preaches a sermon entitled “Beginning.” The Marsh Chapel Choir performs “Magi videntes stellam” by Heinrich Schütz , and “O Lord, give thy Holy Spirit  ” by Thomas Tallis, along with service music and hymns. 

The Rev. Dr. Robert Allan Hill preaches a sermon entitled “Ecumenical Resolution.” The Marsh Chapel Choir performs “Ach, Herr, du Schöpfer aller Ding” by Heinrich Schütz , and “O magnum mysterium” by Tomás Luis de Victoria, along with service music and hymns. 

The Rev. Dr. Robert Allan Hill preaches a sermon entitled “A Communion Meditation for Christmas Eve.” Members of the Marsh Chapel Choir and the Marsh Chapel Thurman choir perform “Silent Night” arranged by Bob Chilcott, and “Candlelight Carol” by John Rutter, along with service music and hymns. 

The Rev. Dr. Robert Allan Hill preaches a sermon entitled "River's Edge." Tenor soloist, Mr. Patrick Waters performs "Et incarnatus est (from Missa Cellensis, Hob. XXII:5)" by Franz Joseph Haydn, and "Every valley shall be exalted (from Messiah)" by G.F. Handel, along with service music and hymns. 

Marsh Chapel presents the 50th Annual Service of Lessons & Carols featuring music from the Marsh Chapel Choir and the Majestic Brass Quintet. Scripture Readings for the Christmas season are read by members of the Marsh Chapel Staff and Community. A video recording of the extended Friday evening service of Lessons & Carols is also available on the Marsh Chapel website.
