Our lives are made up of relationships. We are fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, employees and managers. If we put these relationships under the rule and reign of God, we can experience a bit of life on Earth as it is in heaven.

Collosians 3 invites us to don His clothing, clothing that represents His desire for the way we relate to others, to ourselves and to people's action and attitude toward us. The perfectly fitting and final coat is love. Now that's model material!

The Christian life is one of freedom. Freedom from the murky morals of the world, and freedom from religious rule-keeping. Let's use this freedom in God-honouring ways!

We are called to a relationship with Jesus, not a contract. Paul urges us to understand that our victory is found in the death and resurrection of Christ and is not found in any outward practice. What does life look like when we throw away the 'to do list' and take up the call 'to be', taking root in Christ alone and bearing beautiful fru

Victory can look like many things. The greatest image of victory though, is the cross. A picture of complete defeat is actually God's ultimate victory. Jesus invites us to die to self, with him on the cross, and rise again in victory. Let's face it, we could all use a little bit more of God's ultimate victory in our lives!

The mystery of Christ is revealed to us through the Gospel. Jesus is our supreme value. If we truly knew how precious he is, our hearts would be truly satisfied. Where does your map lead?

Paul is suffering for the benefit of the church in Colossae... Why? How? Well, it has something to do with all the energy that Christ is working in him.

Nobody has seen God, God is completely inaccessible to humanity. However, Jesus is the image of the invisible God. Through him we can access God, experience life to the full on earth and eternity in heaven. We can also reflect his image in our lives, if we continue in faith!

The words of Jesus encourage us to seek peace with God and each other. How do we established reconciliation with one another so we can authentically be ministers of reconciliation? Throughout Abram's life, God was faithful to his promises. Abram responded by being faithful and obedient. Through Abram's long obedience, God blessed Abram, and blessed others through him. God works the same way today. If we are obedient and faithful to God, as Abram was, we will be blessed, and others will be blessed through us.

On that very first Easter, God did something very unexpected. He didn't give people what they wanted, but he gave them what was best for them. Today, sometimes God does not do what we want, but the cross and resurrection confirms with us that God is still about what is best for us.

Many of us are misunderstood from time to time. However, it seems that God is frequently misunderstood - by Christians. There is a certain type of worship that God desires, that he asks us to bring him. Isaiah 58, along with many other bible passages, reveal a significant way that God desires to be worshiped, but often doesn't get it. Let us worship God in all the way he desires!
