Radio Redux

At one point in time during this year's Winterfest, there was the possibility of RadioSEGA needing a cover show - so Kevin boldly stepped up, with the remains of a Halloween show he wasn't able to do and put something together. Though the main focus of the show quickly becomes a classic Radio Redux rant as Kevin verbally takes down the Sonic movie's VFX studio for employing crunch-style pressures on workers... and then not employing the workers at all: "It's the Gendo Ikari school of actually being a manager."

For the fourth year running Radio Redux returns to guest as part of the RadioSEGA Winterfest celebration, but unlike the other occasions its via a recorded show this time. Still there is the usual array of talk, jokes, stories and gaming music from across the spectrum with everything from Mario Kart through to The Crew, Mortal Kombat 11 and Initial D.

It's a hat trick of Radio SEGA WinterFest appearances for Radio Redux as Kevin is (as he puts it) pulled out of mothballs for his once a year appearance. He talks not liking Wreck-It Ralph 2's hypocrisy and there are many jokes at a certain hedgehog movie's expense...

After being the Sunday surprise on last year's Radio SEGA WinterFest, Kevin is back for the 2017 edition and this time he's got two whole hours to fill. With him he's bringing a playlist positively radiating WinterFest: There's bugger all SEGA, no Sonic, only one thing remotely winter related and you'll never guess 95 percent of the tracks he's selected. Talk about being on brand.

A specially arranged surprise as part of RadioSEGA's annual Winterfest that only Kevin/AAUK and KC knew about, Radio Redux returns at its regular time slot. Only for a contest for the Discord to break out in to a civil war over the colour of the Dreamcast swirl. Err, Merry Christmas I guess?

Everyone is going mad for the Dr. Who special, but now Last Minute Continue is coming to replace Sonic Wrecks and with the podast on the way out too it's going to be the end of an era soon enough.

AAUK talks to Vger and SSF1991 about how their week has been, Vger is getting ready to go off to India for work purposes whilst Donnie is prepping to commentate on the Macy's Day Parade. Meanwhile AAUK is not impressed by First 4 Figures and their 'dioramas', which leads to song...

We return to Ravenholm for a Halloween special, but things have changed since back in Series 1. AAUK is now running a bar in the dilapidated town, a bar for demons and dezians of the dark side.

In one of the best shows ever, Radio Redux returns to Room 101 after an absence of several series. This time it's Turbo's turn to sit in the hot seat and try to convince AAUK to banish his pet gaming hates to the vault of no return. What will be banished forever and what will Turbo have to take home with him?

AAUK launches an appeal to aid the Echidnas who are suffering in 2013 and tries to remove his palm from his face as the websites around the globe get taken in by the delusions of one Sonic fan.

SEGA continue to be backwards about coming forwards, making cost saving measures yet spending several billion Yen to by ATLUS. Not to mention the mess with PSO2. AAUK scratches his head and does a bit of telling it like it is...

AAUK has just about had his fill of Hell Yeah! Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit, but there's other things to worry about. Like a new version of SAM he's having to use for a start.

SSF1991 is invited back on the show so that for once Donnie can actually speak and not be talked over, oh and also to discuss Sonic Shorts Volume 8 and the future for Sonic Paradox.
