This week Adam and I discuss the "Breitbarting" of a Labor Studies class at the Kansas City and St. Louis branches at the University of Missouri. This week Adam and Kevin interviewed Brian K. Massey, a student at the University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL), about the allegations of brutality by campus police on November 17, 2010. In an exclusive radio interview Massey gives a detailed account of the beating by the campus police. The police admit to "striking blows to soft tissue areas," but Massey states that even after informing the police he suffers from diabetic neuropathy, the brutalization continued. Massey also reveals to Student Activist Radio, a letter from the university chanellging the official police claim that he "tried to strike an officer" who later "was injured." Massey also talks in depth about his experience with the university administration, as well as the media coverage he has received. Massey says he wants to clear his name hopes the university's actions will not be "swept under the rug." Join us to learn the how and the why of this unfolding story:

This week Adam and I continued our discussion of the fallout from the Republican takeover of the House. We featured Jon Stewart's interview with MSNBC host Rachael Maddow, and the false equivalences between liberal opposition to Bush, and the Tea Party's opposition to the government. We also talked about the deficit commission and attempts to pass the Bush Tax cuts during the lame duck session of congress.

This week Adam and I discussed the political fallout from the 2010 midterm elections. We talked about the ongoing debate between the weakened "Blue Dogs" and Progressives about the future of the Democratic Party, along with the St. Louis Tea Party and Ed Martin's refusal to concede to Congressman Russ Carnahan.
