Within a gospel community, Christ wants us to decide our gray areas with others in mind.-1. My viewpoint is not enough, I need yours also. -v.1-6- -2. An eternity mindset helps us to see singleness and marriage as gifts, and not as distractions from serving God. -1. In our present distress -v.26-, in our brief time in this world -v.29-, and in a world that is passing away -v.31-, our eternity mindset changes how we see--a- relationships -v.29- -b- losses -v.30- -c- happiness -v.30- -d- possessions -v.30- -d- culture -v.31- -2. A married Christian must balance devotion to spouse-family and devotion to The Lord. -v.32-35--3. Since Jesus bought our bodies with the price of His death on the cross, we must accept God's calling for our bodies.-1. God's gospel calling for your body - marriage. -v.1-7, 10-11--2. God's gospel calling for your body - singleness. -v.6-9--3. God's gospel calling for your whole lifetime - with changes. The answer to how the bodily resurrection of the dead is possible is The Resurrection Giver.-1. The fact of the resurrection of Christ, guarantees our resurrection.-1. The aftereffect IF Christ HAD NOT risen. -v.12-19--2. The aftereffect that Christ did rise. -v.20-28--3. Our mourning and crying out to God comforts us by reminding us that the Lord our God is still sovereign.-1. Remembering requires overcoming our condition. -v. 1-10- -2. Because Christ redeemed us, we must honor God with our spirits and our bodies.-1. Christian liberty is important, but does not override the deeper fact that your body is both designed and redeemed for the Lord, not for immorality. -v.12-15--2. Immorality must be avoided with great effort and concern. -v.16-18--3. Your body is not yours to use however you choose. Christ gave His church clear instructions for how to deal with serious conflict between Christians.-1. Understanding public courts vs. the courts of the church. -v.1-6--2. Understanding reconciliation in a Christian manner. -v.7-8- -3. Understanding the gospel, and its implications.-v.9-11--About what issue must we become zealous---Who will co-judge at the end of the world-- Mt. 19-28, Rev. 20-4-How are Christians supposed to relate to each other-- Eph. 4-16-What is the future for the unrepentant-- Hebrews 10-26-27

Christ gave His church clear instructions for how to deal with sinning brothers.-1. Publicly confirm no toleration of forbidden relationships. -v.1-5--2. Focus on Christ's sacrifice with sincerity and truth, and purge evil from the church. -v.6-8--3. Reach decisions about sinning brothers, and leave others to God. -v.9-13--How must we interact with sinning Christians---Where in the law of God is this forbidden-- Leviticus 18-8-What did Israelites get out of their homes-- Exodus 12-15-How many kingdoms are there-- Colossians 1-13-14
