    16/08/2016

The Grey Estates Podcast #10: Katie Moulton (Denver Westword): Did you know that I have another podcast that I actually update every week? It’s The Grey Estates Podcast for thegreyestates.com! Every week, blog queen Lauren and I have an informal chat, mostly about chips and corporate sponsorship, with our favorite lady, queer, trans, and gender neutral artists! This week’s episode features my most badass friend, Westword Music Editor Katie Moulton, in a real barnburner! I got to ask a lot of questions I’ve always had about being a music writer and tell all about how much I used to watch True Life on the job. Listen and subscribe and rate and review and for goodness’s sake, tell a friend!

  • Lazerpointersaurus w/ Allison Stone, Michael Francisco, and Andrew Cambron!

    01/05/2013

Lazerpointersaurus w/ Allison Stone, Michael Francisco, and Andrew Cambron!: Lazersaurus is an institution on WFHB, which itself is an institution in Bloomington, Indiana. It’s a music and comedy program hosted by a guy named Dave with weekly guests every Tuesday from 11pm to 1am. After almost two years of perfect attendance, he needed the night off and I was honored to fill in. On this “cover version” of Lazersaurus, Lazerpointersaurus, I tried to do right by Dave and asked my friends Allison, Michael, and Andrew to join me in the studio for a few hours of music and comedy. We did our best. I think our best was pretty good.

I “sat down” with him on January 17, 2013. I would like to extend massive thanks Caroline Tompkins for the inspiration. (We really did sit down.)
