Knowledge of things like aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focus, light, and composition make up the core building blocks of photography. Looking back at my personal photography journey I made one huge mistake. Instead of investing my time and energy into gaining a sound understanding of the fundamentals I just floated along with my photography using trial and error to get by. As you could imagine it was a huge waste of time and differentially something I would have changed if I had the chance. So in saying that I don't want you to waste all that time like I did. I've found the perfect ebook called Photography Essential Skills by Pro Photographer Brent Mail that will teach you everything you need to know about the essentials of photography in an easy to understand format.
