The Great Escape Festival is the biggest music festival of the year in Brighton and takes place from 17th to 19th May. This year a stack of up and coming Irish acts will coming to Brighton to take part. One of the driving forces behind giving Irish acts a voice abroad is Angela Dorgan of Music From Ireland. In the run up to Christmas, Dwayne Woods, the man behind an Irish music radio show on Dublin Digital Radio has compiled an album of Christmas songs performed by some of Ireland's best acts in aid of Pieta House. A new Irish language support group is being set up in Brighton and Hove to help people who are looking to learn [or brush up on] Gaeilge.
