Pentecost Sunday although it doesn't get the attention Resurrection Sunday gets is also an important day for the church and God’s people. It's on Pentecost Sunday that the church is born.

In the middle of Judgment... we find grace...on the way to hell we find the words of heaven. Salvation.

We continue in the Books of Acts to the 8th chapter this morning.

“God will not allow us to see with our eyes what we refused to believe with our hearts”

So we enter this week into the second conversation where Habakkuk asks God some questions, and God answers them.

God will work all things, even hard and painful things in your life for your good.

We continue in the Books of Acts to the 7th chapter this morning.

God begins to cause me to hunger and thirst for righteousness so that, like Habakkuk, I’m frustrated and sick of sin.

In the early days of the Church Christians determined that thesymbol for our faith would be a cross.

“The One some call ‘the Messiah’ is almost at the gate”

We return one last time to the Book of 1st John to the last section and it's full of promises.With great certainties as to your standing and as to your future.

We continue in the Books of Acts to the 5th chapter this morning. The five key ideas in the book of Acts are the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, the growth of the early church, the conversion of Paul, the spread of the gospel to the Gentiles, and the persecution faced by early Christians.

No threat of punishment or even death could stop them. They were His witnesses.

All testimony to Christ comes from God as the source, even if it’s the testimony of a person.

You are the light of the world and a product of the upper room.

While you’re sitting around waiting on a move of God, it could be that God is waiting on a move of you.

If you want God’s view of Christ, you go to God the Father’s revelation of Jesus.

You are creating a legacy...a heritage for others that may be generations away.
