  • Garbage Time No. 31

    13/05/2016 Duração: 43min

What would it take for Garbage Time (AKA Couplea Buds, AKA Trash Hour) to reach Kesha? Nate determines the pod's six degrees of separation from the pop superstar, explains a lot of soccer and hates on the Oklahoma City Thunder's bench. Mac loves Steven Adams, marvels at the Cubs and worries about the first-place Mariners, as the Garbage Men prepare for and analyze a semi-regular beer olympics with friends the second weekend of June.

  • Garbage Time No. 30

    28/11/2015 Duração: 30min

Nate started a new podcast. Mac got married. The pod lost its spot on iTunes (we will return!). This Garbage Time went silent, while an upstart — very quickly — proved itself superior. Nine months later, the Garbagemen record again and plot their next move: A new name, but with the same identity. Listen for future plans, Mac’s budding gambling problem, Nate’s support for Les Miles and ghost boners (ugh), a real live barking dog and a very messy NFL regular season.

  • Garbage Time No. 29

    28/11/2015 Duração: 17min

In a hastily prepared and more hastily executed March Madness pod, Mac (on cold medicine) and Nate (on a break from work) fail to disclose exactly how many combined hours of college basketball they watched this season but succeed in filling out a shared bracket with very few disagreements. You definitely don’t want your picks to resemble those of the Garbagemen but you might delight in watching the Albany Great Danes, Gonzaga Bulldogs, Eastern Washington Eagles and Utah Utes (it’s Mac’s fault, but Mac and Nate harbor a slight PNW/Mountain West geographic bias) fail to live up to this podcast’s expectations.

  • Garbage Time No. 28

    27/11/2015 Duração: 36min

While the state of Virginia marches door to door, pikes in hand, seeking Nate’s head, Mac peeks out from his cloud of post-Super Bowl depression for the first time in weeks, only to discover it’s February and about six degrees outside. The Garbagemen — somehow — cobble together a podcast filled with hope in this, the saddest of months. Topics include: The NBA trade deadline, the Seattle Mariners, Cubans, A-Rod, the Seattle Mariners, Golden State, Russell Westbrook, the Atlanta Hawks, the Seattle Mariners and Nate Scott’s definition of boring.

  • Garbage Time No. 27

    27/11/2015 Duração: 38min

October, November and December passed without the Garbagemen seeming to notice, but in a new year Mac and Nate break their silence, filling your trash-ravenous ears with garbage once more. The Seahawks and the Patriots seem destined to play one another in the Super Bowl (let us pray we have not just jinxed either franchise), the Cavs stink (question mark?), Edgar Martinez is a hall-of-fame caliber player who will never make the hall, something sketchy went down between the MLS, NYCFC, Man. City and Steven Gerrard, Nate thinks the Detroit Pistons will play a role in one of the top six sports storylines of 2015 and for his birthday Mac got a cat named Hefe (pictured above and below).
