  • Pt- 1 The Future Holds All Things New

    30/08/2020 Duração: 01h08min

It’s tragic that most people have nothing more than NOW to live for. They have no future; no plans, all because they have no vision. Life has become a mundane ritual from birth to death; vision is key to being successful. Helen Keller once said, "What would be worse than to be born blind; to have sight and have no vision." As a pastor, the future is one of the most critical things that he can see. He has a responsibility to always lead the sheep (the church) into the best pasture (future) as he can. Yet, even though he can see what is best, the sheep have to trust and follow in the direction as he leads them. A question I often ask people when doing what God wants or even wanting to do what God wants... 'How Far Are You Willing To See'. We can see through 'our eyes' and only see what we want, or we can see through 'God's Eyes', and begin to see all He wants for our lives. 'How Far are You Willing to See?'

  • PT- 9 In Christ Out Hope Is Secure

    23/08/2020 Duração: 01h12min

Life, depicted in scripture, is straight and narrow or broad and wide. We all begin life at the same place. Yet what takes us down the center or skirting the sides depends on how we choose to walk. Scripture also declares, we are saved by hope, what hope? It's “Christ in you that is the hope of Glory.” Col 1:27 Because of the Hope we can be secure that 'all things will work together for THE GOOD of those who are the called according to God's purpose...' for our lives. Rom 8:28 Here is the key, as we are assured of our hope, we the realize ‘our present troubles are very small and won’t last very long. Yet they will produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs all the troubles and the glory will last forever!' II Cor 4:17 I know some say, 'my problems are not small!' Yet when compared to what Christ has done and the privilege He has given, there really is NO comparisons. Join us this Sunday as we continue our series, 'Growing In God', as we see that 'In Christ we Truly are Secure'.

  • Reaching For Understanding

    09/08/2020 Duração: 01h17min
  • PT-7 God Is Always There

    02/08/2020 Duração: 01h01min

God loves each of his children, regardless of any of a host of variables. Yet it is amazing how many do not really know God. A sad truth that I have come to find is that Jesus has many fans, but few disciples. Still the one who knows this God that loves them so, knows that God does not give in, give up or give out; but He does jump in, lift up and help us to stand out. There are some things about God that are an eternal fact; He knows every thing about us, and He desires nothing more than that we will want to learn of Him in the same way? Today we will peruse the book of Psalms and see that, probably of all the biblical books, through our examination, we will find the eradication of sin and the emancipation from sinfulness of all those who call upon the Name of the Lord and dedicate their lives to Him.

  • The God Of Surprises

    26/07/2020 Duração: 46min

God is up to something so unimaginably good that if He were to share it with us we would probably not fully understand. That is what I believe God is doing in this hour. 'Be strong and of good courage' He told Joshua as he was to press on and into the unknown of all that lay before him. Many times we do not know why things happen the way they do, but we do know that 'God is faithful not to allow us to go through anything we cannot handle... always making a way for us to bear up under it.' Join us this Sunday (In House and Online) as we have special guest speaker, 'Pastor Ray Kirkland' and he helps us to see that God is a God of Surprises and Blessings, and that we can be sure He has our situation well in hand as He also has each of us safe and secure in His Strong Right Hand.'

  • PT-6 God's Plan for God's Purpose

    19/07/2020 Duração: 01h07min

In I Corinthians 9:26 the scripture records, ‘I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air’. Scripture declares that we have a purpose and plan God has designed for each us and God will do all He can to help you to obtain and to fulfill that plan. You see, when we became a Christian, in His covenant with us, God desires that we know his will, find those answers and be certain of what we’re doing and where we’re going and what I have learned is to know God’s will, our greatest knowledge. To do God’s will, has been and will always be our greatest achievement. To do this we must determine that we seek God, declaring ‘your will, nothing more, nothing less, nothing else.’ Join us this Sunday ONLINE and IN THE SANCTUARY of VLCC… as Pastor Tim continues our series on ‘Drawing Closer To God.’

  • PT-5 God's Plan for God's Purpose PT-1

    12/07/2020 Duração: 01h20min

There was movie out years ago with country singer George Strait, the movie was called ‘Pure Country.’ In the movie, there was a profound statement made by the actor’s grandma that pretty much summarizes man’s dilemma on earth. Grandma philosophized, ‘There are no answers just the search.’ This is the sad epitaph of mankind outside of Christ, always searching for but never finding the answers of life. In I Corinthians 9:26 the scripture records, ‘I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air’. Scripture declares that we have a purpose and plan God has designed for each us. When we became a Christian, in His covenant with us, God desires that we know his will, find those answers and be certain of what we’re doing and where we’re going and what I have learned is to know God’s will, our greatest knowledge. • Freedom Or Independence; Your Choice

    05/07/2020 Duração: 58min

Freedom - Longed for in the nations...coveted after in the world... established in America??? We are watching people trying to destroy our past, claiming a better future. Yet, what those who are doing these things do not understand nor realize is that the past has always been an interesting part of the present. Yesterday is something we can run from, or something that we can learn from. Most choose to run, hide from it or even rewrite it in one form or another. Yet in all things if you don’t learn from the past, keeping it ever before you... the past tends to repeat itself and you fall into the same traps as you did before. Our dear young country is doing the same thing. Reliving the past that it should have long ago learned from. The reason America was settled in the first place was that we could be One Nation ‘Under God’ to worship God in the way God said was right. It is interesting to note that the phrase 'Under God' was added to the pledge in 1954 due to the socialistic communist threat against America.

  • PT- 4 God's Promise; Man's Pardon

    28/06/2020 Duração: 01h16min

God give's us the Mind of Christ to overcome the heart of man. The heart of Jesus was spiritual. Our hearts seem so far from His. He is pure. We are greedy. He is peaceful; we are hassled. He is purposeful; we are distracted. How could we ever hope to have the heart of Jesus? Ready for a surprise? We already do. We already have the heart of Christ. Would I kid you? One of the supreme promises of God is simply this: if we’ve given our life to Jesus, Jesus has given Himself to us. The Apostle Paul explains it in I Corinthians 2:16: ‘Strange as it seems, we Christians actually do have within us a portion of the very thoughts and mind of Christ.' The one who saved our soul longs to remake our heart. His plan... nothing short of total and full transformation. As we fix our eyes on Jesus and begin to see Him, we will then begin to see what we can become!
