Mr. Brainerd gave us a powerful word from God entitled, “Have You Forgiven God?” Mr. Brainerd used a parallel between his helicopter flight manual and the Word of God to show us how each provides instructions not only for our daily lives but for emergency situations also. In this inspiring and enlighten message today (May 11, 2014), Pastor Bob Sparks talked with us about “The Carriers of Promise.” He explained how God promised Abraham & Sarah they would give birth in their old age but Sarah did not believe God and tried to do it her way!! God did not promise them the child would come through her servant but through Sarah’s womb. Pastor Bob lets us know that God had a promise and Sarah was the carrier of that promise and God’s promise involves faith; believing God will do the supernatural things no matter how impossible it look with the natural eye.Although God blessed Ismael, he was not the promised one; he got blessed because he was Abraham’s seed – Isaac was the promised one. In today's message (Sunday April 13, 2014), Pastor Bob Sparks reminds us of how "God So Loved Us" that He sent His only begotten Son to earth so He could redeem us! Jesus died a horrible death for mankind to be freed from the wages of sin which was death according to the Law! Death was the requirement for sin, the sin of Adam and Eve in the Garden! Jesus came and fulfilled EVERY requirement of the Law for us; we shall live and not die and declare the works of the Lord! We obtained healing and freedom by the shed blood of Jesus! Pastor Bob wants us to know that we are bought with a price, the precious blood of Jesus and that we are free, no longer in bondage to sin. We have been crucified with Christ and we no longer live but He lives in us and the life we life we now live in the flesh, we live by faith in Christ, who loved us and gave Himself for us (Gal. 2:20)! God bless,Rev.
