Her latest book, TCM Underground: 50 Must-See Films from the World of Classic Cult and Late-Night Cinema (co-authored with Quatoyiah Murry and foreword by Patton Oswalt) explores gritty and eccentric cinema from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. The book goes beyond simple reviews and dissects each film from each respective author's unique perspective. Passport is a coming of age story about a girl growing up in a foreign country with CIA agents for parents. The pitch line sounds like fiction, but this was real life for Sophia.
