In this episode, Stephanie and I discussed the following: How our Christmas went. Stephanie talked about making candy with Jacob as our yearly tradition. We spoke about having family over to do our annual ornament exchange. We mentioned we had our Christmas Eve meal at Waffle House. We saw the new Willy Wonka movie starring Timothée Chalamet. We shared our thoguhts on the movie. Our whole family watched Children of the Stones.

In this episode Stephanie and I talk about the following: McKenna came home from her first semester of college at Western Kentucky University for a longer visit this time before heading back for the spring semester. We caught up on how she's adjusting to being away from home. Stephanie and I reminisced about starting our podcasting journey 18 years ago in December 2005. We talked about some of the early early day experiences of podcasting. I shared the fun night I had taking my dad to see Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone. Stephanie told me about her movie night with Megan and friends watching the Taylor Swift ERAS tour film. It was nice for her to spend time with those friends she watched grow up. We gave our thoughts on the recent Doctor Who specials featuring David Tennant and Catherine Tate. We debated theories about possible spinoffs and the future of the show. Welcome to another episode of Family From The Heart! In this episode, Stephanie and I shared what we have been watching on various streaming services. We started by discussing the Gilded Age on HBO Max, a show that explores class differences and the old money vs new money dynamic in 1880s New York City. Next, we discussed the show Lessons in Chemistry on Apple TV+, which is based on a book. Stephanie enjoys how the show portrays the challenges women scientists faced in the 1950s. We also briefly mentioned just finishing the second season of Loki on Disney+, which we both really enjoyed. After discussing what we've been watching, we moved on to sharing about our Thanksgiving 2023. Stephanie did a lot of the cooking and preparation. We had a smaller gathering than usual but still enjoyed being together with family. Stephanie also provided an update on her deep cleaning of our house.  We are back to producing Family From The Heart on a weekly basis and plan to stream live each Saturday at 11am Eastern Time.
