The story and its main characters have often been an inflection point to discuss contemporary cultural issues, which have varied greatly in the last 200+ years. In this talk, we will explore how anxiety manifests in Frankenstein as a feeling that is grappled with by characters and how contemporary issues around mental health continue to engage with themes from the book.
