Alpha At St. Matthew's

Our final Alpha session for Autumn 2012 looks at the role of the Church in Christian life. What actually is the church? What does the Bible say about meeting together with other believers?

Why should we tell other people about church, and how should we go about doing it? Pads Dolphin considers these questions in the penultimate session of our Autumn 2012 Alpha course.

The Jesus of the Bible was well know for his healing, but does He still heal today? Are there different types of healing that God does, perhaps that we don't always recognise? And how do we ask for healing, either for ourselves or for other people?
